Joey Nelson

Joey Nelson

“Outside-the-box, forward thinking and always hard working…”

These are just some of the words that could describe the talents of Joey Nelson. Joey is currently the Interactive Creative Director at Rockfish Interactive, a full service interactive agency with locations in Bentonville, Arkansas, and Dallas, Texas. At Rockfish, Joey takes the creative lead on projects for many Fortune 500 clients, such as Walmart, Kimberly-Clark, Johnson and Johnson, Sara Lee, Procter and Gamble and Dr Pepper Snapple Group. Rockfish was recently named Ad Age’s Small Agency of the Year.

Prior to Rockfish, Joey spent five years polishing his creative skills as a graphic designer for various companies and organizations in Texas, including The Medical Clinics of North Texas and Blackard Developments. He also provided freelance work for various bands and musicians throughout Texas. Not all of Joey’s artistic merits have been on the web, though. Joey has turned heads with his ability to make graffiti into art with the Headed 2 Oblivion Crew.

Joey has a bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Marketing from Stephen F. Austin State University.
